OVERCOMING FEAR IN THE ALTERNATIVE FASHION COMMUNITY - focuses on the challenges we face when wearing new styles in public for the first time. In this panel, Lauren, Cora, and Charlie will discuss their own personal journey toward conquering fear with sought out strategies and motivational insight. Join in for a meaningful, interactive discussion, and a chance to discover new ways to boost confidence, self-assurance, and excitement for that look you’re born to rock.

EMPATHY 101 - The empathy 101 panel/workshop will break down the meaning of empathy while providing tools and information that reflect applications in person and online. This workshop will run through various foundations of emotional intelligence and how members of the alternative community can better social interactions. Inviting the community to practice and apply empathy going forward.

ALTERNATIVE FASHION AND SUSTAINABILITY: WHATS THE CONNECTION? - Sustainability is one of the biggest conversations in the fashion industry right now, but what exactly is it and how does it relate to alternative fashion? In this panel, we aim to not only educate you on this important topic but explain how a sustainable mindset can enhance your experience with fashion.

Jade is a Maryland based magical girl. She is the “pink energy” inspired writer behind the social media platform Jadedisland.
